A Look At Life From A Googler
No, I’m not a Googler if that’s what you’re thinking, but I was able to coming across a blog post that outlined what life is like for a Googler. I’m going to give you a quick rundown of his blog post, so you get a general idea of what life is like when you work for Google.
You can find a link to the full post at the end of this blog post.
His day starts off in his Google apartment.
Yes, he lives in a Google apartment and the way he described it seems to be pretty dull. He shares it with a Czech data security employee, who doesn’t want to share anything about the work he does.
It’s time to catch a ride to work on the Google bus.
Instead of hopping in his car or heading for a morning walk, he takes the Google bus to work where he used the Google internet to get some things done online while he is taking the long way to work aboard the Google bus.
Having breakfast at the Google cafe seems to be normal.
Instead of heading to your favorite restaurant, looks like you will be heading to one of Google’s many cafes for a bite to eat in the morning. What better way to get your day started than have to face Google bright and early?
The life of a Googler seems to spin a head.
Instead of being laid back, it looks like he has chosen a field where one of the most ferocious technology battles is fought. This seems to create a rather hectic pace that many people might not even be able to keep up with in their right mind.
Off to a lunch meeting…
Could you believe it? At another Google cafe that serves sushi! When you work for Google, they sure do encourage long work days. Looks like this company sure knows how to keep you thinking…GOOGLE!
It just keeps going from there.
The rest of his day is living and breathing Google’s way of life. Google is a quickly dominating company in the technology industry and it’s no wonder why. They know how to get the most from their employees.
This isn’t a bad thing by any means. Google actually pays their employees quite well, provides the opportunity for their food and shelter costs to be covered, so basically you just have to spend money on the luxuries of life or going out to the bar.
