An Alternative To Interns: High School Students
Recently, I did a post on how you could use interns to grow your computer repair business. Maybe that interested you, and maybe it just didn’t grab your attention at all.
Well, I’m here to show you another option that doesn’t involve college students at all. I’m talking about high school students who want a job so that they can earn a little extra money to spend.
Curious yet? I know you are.
High School Students Aren’t Expensive To Hire
They are actually pretty flexible in terms of the expense of having them on your staff is concerned. You’re providing them with an opportunity to let them work for a few extra dollars they can depend on, as well as helping them build up their work experience for when they are looking for a job when they get older.
Hire Them On Part Time & Keep Them Happy
When we were told that we need to treated others as we wish to be treated, it couldn’t be any more true than it is in the business world. Most high school students just want a part-time job, which is great for you.
They are younger and they need the time to go have fun with their friends. Keep them happy and you will quickly realize that they could become a great asset for your computer repair company.
One Great Opportunity You Have
What is it? You say. Well, the high school students don’t really appeal to cutting yards in the middle of the summer. By providing them with a comfortable place to work inside, you’re assuring that they are going to help become even better workers. The reason for this is that when it’s hot, and they sit under the ac for a few hours, they won’t be worried about how much they dislike being hot and sweaty.
When it comes down to it…
This could be a great way to get some laborers hired onto your company, thus helping you bill out more hours than you could by yourself. More money for your business will truly help you become financially solid in your personal life as well. A growing company that can meet the demands of the technologically advanced world we live in today, is a company that has a rock solid future.
