It looks like every good thing on the internet eventually builds up so much that they tend to fall on their own weight. It is sad to say bye to a program which I used, prided and evangelized a lot for a considerable time and for quite a many valid reasons. Not only that AVG has made it heavy, slow and technically complicated but also their installation / uninstallation procedures have become too conditional. AVG is no longer tolerant of other similar programs. That is unacceptable! Finally, today on 16th Jan 2011, I too am bidding farewell to the AVG, a dear companion of mine for many years.

You would think these 2 would have lighted up the code by now. I myself became annoyed with AVG as well.
