So, just today I sent in my old iPhone 3G to a place that buys used iPhones, iPods, laptops, etc. I got $95 for it, which isn’t bad, considering I got a lot of use out of it, and it’s just been sitting collecting dust.

New websites that will buy your used electronics are popping up on the web every day. The majority of companies are buying iPhones in order to fix them up a bit (if needed), refurbish them, perhaps unlock them, and then turn around and sell them.

You could certainly try and sell your phone on eBay, but you should first check completed auctions to see how much you’d probably get. And keep in mind, if you’re phone is broken, most people won’t want it on eBay. These other websites will buy your broken iPhone because certain parts inside are salvageable and would aid in refurbishing a close-to-perfect phone.

Be Your Own IT Adds Certification Exams

Yes loyal members we have finally added what so man of you have been asking for! If you score more than an 80% on the longer exams you will be presented with your very own certificate!

Sure it’s not Comptiaa or whatever but it’s still pretty nice and if you are looking for a job it could help!

Cyber Monday is upon us! In just a few short hours, wave two of the black friday shopping bonanza will strike! One of the biggest, if not the biggest, online shopping day of the year has some of the most amazing offers you will ever see. While a lot of blogs will be posting about amazing deals, closeouts, or can’t pass up buys, we’ve decided to share a little advice with you. Here are three ways to avoid buyers remorse!

1.Set A Budget-When you begin shopping, know what you are going to spend, and do whatever you can to stick to that number as closely as possible. Sure, things can get a little over budget here and there, but try to stay as close as possible to your budget.

2.Make A List-Just like real Christmas shopping, make a list, and try to stick to it. This will be the best way to avoid purchasing items you had not planned on.

3.Be realistic-Remember, often times the most amazing deals are on closeouts and last year’s models. If you are wondering why that 52 inch LCD is half the price of everything else, it’s typically because it isn’t as good. Don’t just get things to get them, it is the biggest mistake people make. Keep things in prospective, and you will never be disappointed.
