Google is going to be geeking it with e-books!
Any tech loves to hear about how Google plans to take over the world next. We were able to witness this conglomerate appear out of thin air, and not when the internet was first made available for home use either.
Let’s face it, Google is the company that we all wish we would’ve thought of before it actually was thrown onto the net in beta. After all, who wouldn’t want to have a piece of the google pie?
How will Google promote the e-books it has available for sale?
In the Google book search of course. In fact, they are definitely about to bombard the market with about 400,000-600,000 titles which will definitely have competitors in this industry truly making a run for their money.
We all know how an industry changes once Google gets involved, we have seen it in many industries already. I personally suspect that the prices that Google will be offering are going to be a trend-setter to say the least.
How will Google promote this new line of work?
In no other than the Google book search of course. Google already has one of the biggest user bases known to search engines, just watch the Google stock soar even more after they implement this new way to market towards their user base.
When will Google launch this?
As early as a few weeks, they plan to launch this in June 2010. They have had this in the works ever since last year, but publishers weren’t happy with what Google was proposing in the beginning, which delayed this launch that could’ve happened a lot sooner.
Now, publishers are finally getting whim of how important it is to go along with what Google is wanting. What are you going to truly say to a company who just about owns the world that we live in today?
The Google Conclusion
This is yet another way that Google has demonstrated what can happen when you think outside of the box and implement new ways of generating revenue for the company.
While I haven’t had the chance to buy Google stock, I sure would have loved to get my hands on it as now it’s definitely proving to be a profitable decision for investors.
After all, what other company has paved the way like Google has already done and continues to do? This is truly entrepreneurship at its finest, and for those that fail to ignore that fact, well it’s time to wake up and smell the coffee that Google has already brewed up!
