Targus Recalls Laptop Power Adapters Due To Overheating

  

Targus laptop adapters were fairly popular during their time of being sold in stores like Best Buy and Wal-mart. However, now these laptop power adapters are being recalled.

The reason for the recall is that the tips are overheating, which has caused consumers of this particular charger minor burns. Only eight burns were reported, which is a lot less than what it could have been.

What happened during the overheating process of this particular series of laptop chargers is that it got so hot, the plastic case around the tips began to endure a melting process.

  1. I have that kind of problem but my charger is not Targus. Same as that may charger heats up to the point that i can’t touch it…
