With that, the ever so popular iPhone 4 has come under much scrutiny with its problems with the external antenna. The concern is growing when it comes to how you hold the phone a certain way, also known at the “Death Grip,” can be shown to drop calls as well as data connections. Even the highly reputable Consumer Report has joined the bandwagon in calling for Apple to do something about the problem that Apple refuses to do anything about. They have been reported saying that the problem is a “fact of life” for every wireless phone on the market. Apple may have legitimate concern, but recalling does not seem to be an option and would cost the company an estimated 1.5 billion dollars. It has been shown that a cover does fix the problem, which is why the phone still continues to sell, but having the extra cost has not pleased many iPhone 4 buyers.
