Once you have the Drupal content management system installed on your website, you will probably want to give it a sharp new look. There are plenty of pre-made themes available that you can download and apply to your site for free.
Find out what version of the system you have installed and then visit the Drupal themes page. Find a design that you like that is compatible with your version of Drupal and download it to your desktop. Make sure you have downloaded and installed WinRAR before proceeding.
After you have downloaded the theme, open it and extract it to the desktop using WinRAR. Login to your server through your FTP client and upload the extracted file to the “themes” folder.
Once this is complete, log into the administration page of your website. Click on the “Themes” option, and the new layout you just uploaded should be listed. Enable the theme, make it your default and then save the configuration at the bottom of the screen. Remember, you can change the theme of your Drupal site at any time without losing your data.
