William. Let me state one more thing should it matter. I just recently had the O/S restored. Would this have anything to do with what has happened? And, I do not know if I am using the ATI card or not. I think I will just go with stopping the auto load of the CCC. I am assuming that I can go to the start up panel after msconfig and uncheck the CCC? Or, should I just remove the CCC completely? Rob
