ok well. first post um. i was running windows XP my mic was working fine i coulda set my headset on my desk and still talk and ppl hear me but i went and downloaded windows 7 RC evaluation copy build 7100 and now ive gotta literally hold my mic right next to my mouth for people to fully here me ive been trying to find info on what the issue was and been looking up info on the web and cant find anything on a solution. i have the latest fully released driver for windows 7.

i was curious if any one else has had this issue and has fixed it or if any one knew exactly how to fix the issue because it really messes up with the whole gaming experience iwth having to hold my mic to talk and then get shot at lol you know what i mean? so if any one can help make a post ill read anything and try anything you shoot at me provided it isnt about dismantleing lol
