For starters sounds like your trying to load vista drivers on xp program, let me have a look see if i can find right drivers.

Xp drivers for that machine are like rocking horse shit theres a lot of people had the same problem, if you want to continue with xp best bet for network and sound drivers is the realtek site

drivers should be pretty standard for your computer for sound and network but rest will be a nightmare, but unless you really have to keep xp i would go back to vista, do you have a vista install disc or can you get hold of one, and if the tech has sold you a copy of xp see a solicitor.
