I suppose I should've mentioned that if you are working on a computer without a wrist band it would be a good idea to do it in an uncarpeted room if possible. Don't wear long sleeve sweaters etc, that just came out of the wash with that static feel to them, but nothing to worry about unless you are constantly zapping people with electro-static discharge everytime you touch something.

Remember:Humidity kills static as static develops from dryness and heat. A humidifier will solve that problem hands down. Even in a carpeted room.
