Default PCI Cards

When I installed the sound card (Top) into this MO it didn't seem to fit. By this I mean it did not completely fill the PCI Slot. The video card came out of this slot and as you can see (PIC) it is a different size??? Is a PCI card a PCI Card regardless of how it looks???

there are a few slight variations but as long as the cut outs on the cards allow them to fit with the raised section of the slot it should work fine even if the card doesnt seem to fill the slot completely
