Hi everybody!!! I hope you all are having a fruitful time browsing through these forums!
I am a 52 year old-young man from the Indian Subcontinent. I slipped into the computer world by accident at a very late age. And it just fascinates me more and more.
I'm building a desk-top PC and, as I had expected, there just pops up questions out of nowhere. My memory is of course, pre-silicon chips so I have to read and decipher all texts that I read over and over again. And go back to already read portions. One step forward and two steps backwards
I'm hoping I'll get help from you guys and I'm ready to share any knowledge that I have succeeded to acquire, with anyone who is in need of it. take care my forum friends and live life to the fullest!!!

Anzaksonn,

From one noobie to another welcome aboard. I'm only one step removed from the vacuum tube era so I can relate to your experiences. The first computers I worked on were in cabinets and a pain to work on. I look forward to hearing from you.

Mike

Thumbs up

Great to have you. I'm not a spring chicken anymore either, but I love this stuff.
