Talking Introduction

Hi to Everyone in the Fourm,

After watching about seven lessons on you tube about the work that this site is doing.
I just had to see what was going on and to my delight the website is as stated on You Tube, but even better, lots of intresting things to do and people to get to know who maybe able to help me should I have a problem.

This is going to sound really bad, but one of my little pleasures in life is to repair and refurbish old laptops as there are becoming more available at various locations, from as cheap as £5:00 or $7.50, so there is a lot of scope out there.

I look foreward to joining in any discussion where I may be able to add value for anyone.

Kindest Regards
PeterB

This would sound bad why ? When I was 14 I helped my father rebuld the Motor on a 1939 John Deere H (all 12 and a half horsepower of it) I got to the point where I had memorized the torque requirements on the head bolts.

I like tinkering with older things too, I don't understand why it would sound bad.

I like playingwith oddities, I had a dual Pentium 2 350 Compaq server that weighed over 100 lbs as a work machine for giggles for a whole too.
