iF I GOT A COMPUTER THAT HAD A VIRUS THAT MADE THE ENTIRE COMPUTER SHUTDOWN OR THE MOTHERBOARD JUST WENT OUT, CAN THAT MEMORY BE USED TO REPLACE OR ADD TO ADDITIONAL MEMORY IN THE SECOND COMPUTER I OWN.

A virus cannot damage a RAM stick. If a motherboard goes bad, it depends on what caused the board to go out. If there was an electrical surge that did it, then there is the small possibility that it damaged the RAM stick...but I doubt it. Chances are you can indeed use the RAM stick if it is the correct type of RAM stick. The motherboard you want to put it into will use a certain type of RAM...DDR2...DDR3...etc. If you have more than one RAM stick in it the specs of each stick should match.

If it's the same type of RAM then put it in the other computer. Test it and see if it works.
