it seems like a good price cpu alone would be $330 from neweg, but its a restore disc not a full install disc (could mean problems in the future)

Wink

I was hip to the handle bocephus as well. and there is a guy on here with the handle Hank.Just pick up on stuff like that I guess.I'm a fan of Hank SR,Hank JR and Hank 3 even though Hank 3 is all over the board with his musc. Just the same the kid has skills for sure.
Bocephus you say you lay down a few licks with your six string,so I guess you do a little home recording. I do a bit of home recording as well it's just not music. I record my own prey distress sounds for calling varmints (yes a bit odd) And just in case you don't know what that is man don't ask your far better off not knowing.lol
What kind of recording or editing software do you run anyway is it high end or just somthing you snagged off the net?
I cut my teeth on Magix Cleaning lab 12 I used it for four plus years and now I run Magix cleaning Lab 17. True nothing to write home about but more than good enough for me.Cleaning Lab 17 trys to do to much of the work for me but I can still tweak the sound a bit my self. Just never wanted to shell out the bucks for Sonny Sound Forge or Samplitude is all.
Bocephus good luck with geting all knowed up on computers.

Smile Hey Old Guy

I do a little pickin' and grinnin' but just for my own amusement. I don't have any good sound software now. I gave the computer that had a (better) soundcard away to my kid, and since I have bought this Wal-Mart computer special I've really not done much pickin. I will eventually though and I'll let you know. I'm hoping that some good software will come with a better sound card that I plan on buying eventually. I've got my fingers in to many pies right now. With this course study, the new computer and of course all of the housework she makes me do now that I'm retired. I've been thinkin' about going back to work to get some rest. If you get a chance read about the old computer that I just brought home. It's here on the forum under other os and older windows.
