Default IT

I'm thinking about a job as IT. But I have a couple of questions hope some people will answer. First of all are there jobs rising as a IT or falling? What would be a good college to go to? And how is the salary as IT. If any of you have a suggestions for any other jobs, please reply. Thanks!!!

the jobs are always rising, the pay can vary based on experience and field, I recommend going to our "careers" section and checking out some of the online schools for the latest information. Certifications can be quick and pay well

Hi Aninda, well IT jobs is always good. We are moving in a very fast pace with the technology that advances so fast that we need more people to understand it and maintain it etc...

I will recommend you to take the course called CCNA. Cisco Certified Network Associate. It's a very good place to work at.

Cisco Systems lead in the Internet connection and has many good things to offer, check out their website at Cisco Systems, Inc

Now that I remember there is a site called CBT nuggets, where they have lots of IT info.
check it out @ CBT Nuggets: Training for Cisco CCNA SQL MCSE VB.NET A+ Linux PMP & Many More IT Certification Exams!

IT is a broad field. there is networking, programing, database, website developing, repair, help desk, systems administration, security,etc....

dice.com has a good ebook on all the career paths in IT. Its a free download. They also have other great information on schools, job listings, how to write resumes, cover letters, etc. It is a IT job site.

Hope this helps.

Pam
