Default Web hosting your site

Just curious on which company some of the people here use. Those top 10 sites are obviously affiliates since I see the same sites on every single one. Also that unlimted stuff is utter nonsence. I'm ready to launch my web site, but for he life of me, I can't decide on a reliable host. i.e. I know Host Monster and Blue Host (same company), throttle their sites, if you go over a certain bandwidth limit, I know a lot of folks that have automatically lost their account with no warning. Any suggestions from the folks here?

Best
Gabriel

Thanks WI-Fi-Guy!

I decided to go with inmotion. I made about 20 phone calls to all the sites that I was interested in. Talked to both thier sales and tech guys. inmotion was the company I was most impressed with. They didn't give me generic answers to any of my questions and they were sincerly concerned with my satisfaction. After I signed up with them I must have called tech support at least 5 times. They always answered immediately and didn't let me go untill all my questions were resolved. Very polite and these guys know what they are doing. A bit more pricey than most but I would rather pay that extra for peace of mind!

Overall, I'm a pretty happy camper with them.

And no, I'm not trying to push the company or am in any way affiliated with them, just glad I made the right choice, for myself anyways

Gabriel

I use 1 & 1. And I will make a dime if you go to them and refer me.

I also hear that Host Gator is really good.

Then a real popular one is Go Daddy.

Go Daddy is pretty popular.... just make sure to pay your bill on time. Theyll highest bidder your domain name the second that thing slips.

Hey William, I went with inmotion and couldn't be happier. I've used many hosts in the past and was even a reseller at one point. inmotion has them all beat hands down IMO. Tech support has been nothing less that spectacular

I usually tend to go with less known sites. I used to be with SimplexWebs.com

The reasoning behind this is because their prices are typically cheaper and they have faster support.

Not always the case though.

As I decided to set up my own website I first thought I would choose free webhosting but after I compared different web hosts I decided to use paid service. There are many packages which are not too expensive. Besides this a good customer service is for me personally very important. I am very satisfied with my current web host (IX Webhosting).

This is only a personal opinion but i happen to hold my opinions in high regard, i would avoid this web hosting site like the plague, it screams scam to me i have never used it and if anyone fancies telling me im wrong im prepared to listen. - Popeye

Hi,

I currently have a site on Go Daddy and have been satisfied with it and support.
I usually get my support via email and they always get back to me fast.
