I would put the tech skills and certs above education. The first thing you want them to see is what you can do and the certs to back it up, then let them look at if you have the experience to back up your claims.

The objective could be a little more personal and larger as well, but thats all for now.

On the actual resume the Tech Skills have their own column to the right of the page (its a MS Word template).

I agree with William. Employers also want to know what kind of a people person you are as well as:

I am versatile, experienced and confident….detail minded….dependable, conscientious, self motivated and work well without supervision

Not that exactly but also qualities that make you more of a value to them on an accountability level.

Its not very often you would trust a geek with your expensive possessions, computers are the exception, if you look like a geek, look like your about eleven years old, look like you still live at home with your mum, and look like you spend all your spare time in your bedroom w**king off over pictures of pamela anderson, it might actually improve your chances of getting a job, chances of getting a girlfriend is nil, but such is life.
