this is what i use, or better still get my sister to check, and add full stops

You can't edit that file as its a PDF, you would need something like acrobat pro to open it for editing. There may be a way to convert it to another format but I haven't had much luck. You would be better off making your own in office.

I'm not one who has ever used OpenOffice, since my college gave me a student copy of Microsoft Office 2007. I currently use an "Invoice" template for Excel to write up my work orders. Will an Office template work in OpenOffice?

I really don't know. However, I can use openoffice to open and read microsoft docs and excel sheets.

Open office is free for the down loading. You might just download it and experiment.

Looks like I can opent the file once I name it something. Not sure if I can download a template from Microsoft directly into OpenOffice

you might have the same problem using different versions of ms office, 02, 07 and 2010 versions dont always like documents made in the other versions
