Cool can i do it ??

ok i have a old motherboard :P but thats not the problem !

the problem is it has missing pci express slot that place is just empty

so i was thinking of going to market and buy a pci express slot and fix it in my motherboard

so if i do it will effect my motherboard cause my mother board can only support 2 gb of ram but will it support 1 gb of vedio card with modded pci express slot

and can that effect my motherboard or other parts of pc ? ?

Go for it, where is this market that sell pci-e slots, and would i be right in thinking they also sell herbal tobacco (for medicinal purposes only, obviously) , if it works i will put up a video on youtube showing my arse.

Seriously, acepro, what kind of slots does it have on the board? Possibly older ISA slots? We're not sure what you mean by putting PCI slots into the board. Taking you literally for what you typed you cannot do that. If there are no slots on the board at all....post a pic of it....I'd like to see it.

If its missing a pci-e slot that means that you have an entry level pc that only has pci slots. You cheaped out buying it (or someone did) and you are the victim of market segmentation.

You pretty much can't put a pci-e slot into it. Its cheaper and easier to replace the board.

Also, there's nowhere to buy the slots by themselves except through parts suppliers from the oems and even then they probably wouldn't sell you just 1. You would have to buy a pallet or 2 of them.

Oops. I missed where he said PCI 'express.' It has regular PCI slots. I misread. Still, you can't do it.
Just get a PCI card.
