Just getting into and wanting to look at overclocking and looking at future boards to upgrade to so i can overclock the q6700. I am totally new at this and don't have too much experience with it. Ive seen motherboards that have overclocking software and ive overclocked with nvidia and ati video cards by using the software detect and set the maximum safe overclock. Do they do the same with motherboards? And if so what is the safest and easiest motherboard so i can crank my proc?

If youve got a oem copy of windows upgrading the motherboard will mean having to buy another product key (allowed to upgrade twice with a retail copy).
