Depending on the brand of motherboard you have this may be different...BUT

Get into bios (could be f1, f2 or del on boot up)
1. check boot order to make sure it boots from harddrive first
2. if you do not have a floppy drive installed, look for something that says either legacy disk or floppy disk in bios and see if you have the option to disable it.

Hope this helps

Drive a is the floppy so try what booger said first, if that doesnt work look on the motherboard website see if theres a known issue that needs a bios update, flashing your bios can be a nightmare try everything else first.

Hey booger, thanks for the tip, sorry to say I still have an issue . I disabled the floppy ,saved the new setting than rebooted .I am now only getting an empty dark (maybe black)screen. If you there is any thing else you can help with that would be great .I am going to check on any motherboard issues there might be ,just like popeye67 suggested.
