Default Remote Support

I want to be able to log into people’s computers for remote access/support and I can use programs such as TeamViewer or websites like logmein but once I restart I cannot log back until they have rebooted or having user interaction on the other side. Is there something out there that I can watch the computer reboot and if so how does it work?

Default Logmein...

I use logmein for my remote administration... I like it because you can reboot their computer into safe mode if you like... I have never had any of your same symptoms that you are talking about...

I know the new version of logmein allows you to adjust the power options so your can use the program to turn on their computer from the logmein console.

I have never heard of any programs that do what you are talking about..

customers would need to install a virtual machine, if they can do that they arent going to need help fixing computer, nice idea but its asking a lot for people to install it to make your life easier.

Thanks Popeye...

Besides TeamViewer or Logmein, do you know of any other services?

I use techninline after demoing it and gotoassist. Gotoassist is a much nicer product but techinline has a payment model where you can buy "credits" and pay on a per client per day basis instead of a monthly basis. If you just do this occasionally that model can save you a lot of money.

Easy to use too.

You should be able automatically reconnect to their computer using TeamViewer.

I guess I could set it up to launch at start-up and have a set password.

Thanks Adam

Try RHUB remote support appliance. I like its automatic login after remote reboot. You don't need any user interaction in order to login. So-called unattended remote access.
