I'm not saying they are utter garbage, all I am saying is that I think there are better rock bands around.

WHAT????

How could you say such things?

How many other bands that started in the 70s do you know that is still making #1 selling CD and Selling out concerts all over the world?

"The Final Frontier, was released worldwide on 16 and 17 August 2010, peaking at number one in 40 different countries and receiving universal acclaim from reviewers.[1] The album's second track, "El Dorado", won in the Best Metal Performance category at the 53rd Grammy Awards."

Quote from Iron Maiden - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Considered one of the most successful heavy metal bands in history, Iron Maiden have reportedly sold over 85 million records worldwide[3] with little radio or television support. As of October 2009, the band has played over 2000 live shows during their career."

Also quoted from Iron Maiden - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Then again it doesn't really matter what people say... All you have to do is listen to the music and know they are the greatest band ever to exist. Hands down.

You really are a die hard Iron Maiden fan. I would never have guessed Can't stand Heavy Metal. Right now as a temp I am working in a conference room with 8 other people most using headphones to listen to something and drown everyone else out. Guy two people down from me listens to heavy metal so loud I can hear it through his headphones and I can't stand it. I can hear his eardrums crying hysterically "let me out of here" Crazy. I know every heavy metal diehard says the louder the better. Personally I think it is insane to listen to any music that loud. Just my 2 cents worth lol However, on occasion, I do crank up my Christian Praise music in the car when I am feeling extremely thankful

daisy

As I get older I do tend to lower the volume on my music. I do not listen to it near as loud as I once did. One of the main reasons is because I do not want to damage my hearing any more than it already is.

And you can say that Iron Maiden is some what Christian Praise Music. Just look at some of their lyrics from their song "For the Greater Good of God"

Quote:
He gave his life for us he fell upon the cross
To die for all of those who never mourn his loss
It wasn't meant for us to feel the pain again
Tell me why, tell me why

Actually Nicko McBrain the drummer for Iron Maiden is a professing Born Again Christian.

But maybe you can't say that Iron Maiden is Christian Praise Music.

Besides, William, what are you doing up at this time of day?

Wolfey considers changing the thread title to "AdamsAPlus' World Famous Iron Maiden Thread".
