When someone types say Bedroom Furniture into a search engine the respective engines set off and do a search for that topic.

These are called Spiders, a rather apt term for something that crawls all over the World Wide Web don't you feel?

The more defined the subject matter is the better the hits on that subject.

With regard to BYOIT the more spiders we get the better it is Rob.

The sole purpose of search engine spiders like Yahoo Slurp and Googlebot is to crawl and index web pages and return these pages in SERP's.
