well why didn't you say that, if they've got BSc you don't want to let them anywhere near a computer, know a lad with adhd hes terrible with computers and that only starts with an a, personally given the choice of someone with a BSc working on my computer or someone with 6 months experience i wonuld avoid the former, if they are clever enough to get one of them they a clever enough to bullshit you into keep paying out to fix something that doesn't actually ever get fixed.

Hey, we have the most intelligent, highly educated counter assistants in the area - pity none of them know anything about computers! One had a degree in mathematics (and still needs a calculator to work our 2 portions of fish and chips (2 x 5.60)! and the other has a bachelors in theoretic physics. Since they left Uni, neither has been able to find employment except in the Chippie... we take anyone willing to accept minimum wage....now counting the days when I can finally leave this .....

The problem is they are learning what they are taught, they aren't being trained for proper qualifications, we don't do proper qualifications in this country anymore, we just make up mickey mouse qualifications that aren't worth the paper they are written on, we used to have city & guilds, then it was too expensive so they made up NVQs, now they are too expensive so they have brought in BTEC awards (at least the don't call them certificates, because they certify bugger all), i had some clown teacher last week trying to convince me one of these BTEC awards was the equivalent of Comp-TIA, then he gets offended when i tell him to f**k off

Had one year of junior college. Most of my education is an accumulation of every job I have ever worked. And there have been many. One young college grad I am working with now I think is having his first encounter with working in the corporate world. His office is swimming in stacks of paper and piled high already.
