Well, in the private sector, if the job is non-productive and non-supportive, it'll have to be the P45 - don't see why it should be any different in the public sector - hang on till I print a P45 out for you.. lol

Don't know about the public sector, but in the private sector, when one department/staff member is axed, the workload falls on others....so, would it really be that different?

I've always negotiated my own rates of pay / pay rises.

But tell me more about your theory of dictatorship...sorry I mean your post as Prime Minister...

i will write up my tax plans you would love them

problem is its so hard to sack civil servants, or even demote them if they are really bad at their jobs they get promoted just to get them out of the way, its not the cream rising to the top its something else that floats

dont worry i have a plan that will make it all better, by doubling income tax, and lowering taxes.

not just Vat, everything, simple flat rate of tax at around 45%, no Vat, no council tax no duty on anything, and no f**king loopholes, the only people who actually understand all the rules and the loopholes seems to be politicians, a cynical person might be forgiven for thinking they brought in all these tax laws for their own financial gain.

and without the army of bureaucrats who earn a good butty collecting all these taxes, and the army of bureaucrats we pay to give you the money back in benefits like family tax credit because you can't afford to live on what you have left, with all them gone we can start spending the money on something that will improve Britain, and we would have enough left over to invest in industry, to replace the one the politicians sold off (how come lord young isn't behind bars yet for being a theiving/corrupt bastard), that way we could stop paying foreign countries companies money to sell us our own gas electric and water

Whilst I see the logic behind your theory, I cannot conceive this, or any other elected government, going for it. But, come the revolution....... I'll be your side-kick... lol Under the condition we have to keep the UK united, and get out of European market.....

amen to that, and there are a few countries adopting it already and in a few years time they are going to wipe the floor with us, only reason our government wont do it is too many civil servants with too much say and not enough inteligence to realise they would actually be better off aswell, if they were prepared to actually work for it
