hey guys.... i have an older computer and i want to start using it. all it needs is a hard drive but before i go buy one. i need to know can i use the drivers from my other computer to boot my old one?

Not really some might work but you will probably have to download them from motherboard makers website, or try a windows update if you connect to internet you should be able to update drivers that way, what drivers need loading operating system will carry lots of drivers for stuff like hard drives to get you up and running.

well how can know what kind of mother board does it have?

Depends what you need, try network driver and then go to device manager and install any that are missing.
