Hi, I'm new here so I hope I'm doing this right. My problem is that I have no power to my keyboard/mouse and they are both wireless. I changed the batteries in both thinking that was the problem. Nope, that wasn't it. So, I went and got a plug & play keyboard. That didn't work. Plug & play keyboard works great with laptop that I'm using right now. There are lights on the KB for "Num Lock" & for "Caps Lock" and I thought Hmmmm, so I plugged the new KB back to desk top and tried the KB again. No lights come on and nothing works ( like up&down arrows). When I start my desk top up, it stops at a screen ( Windows Resume Loader), & I know that I have to make a choice using the arrows on KB, then hit enter. Like I said, KB is not working. So I was wondering if there is a switch that needs to be flipped or do I need to replace some thing else? I'm no geek but I do know enough to know how to change things, if need be, since I use to worked on PCboards ( a long time ago) and have changed out memory boards before on the desk top. What do all of you think or feel? Thank-you all for your help. |

make sure they are plugged into the right ports, could be something messed up in the bios, pop the battery out for ten seconds and then replace it
