Me either,but after i get thrue kill disking drive,to remove everything,I have a spare dvd drive i will install it and try to re install windows again,maybe ill switch and install xp or windows 7,and see what happens never was a big fan of vista,but in my mind i think the motherboard is cousing all of this,like i heard you mention cpu's are particly indistrucktabal

Well I hope I'm not posting this ahead of time.I ended up installing windows vista from my disk after the kill disk,the computer has been running all day so far no errows I even shut The computer down for a few minutes and did a hard start,it started just fine so far,I thought in one of the earlyer post that i thought it was a bad windows,instal or that it was corrupt or damaged,I might have been right

like ive said before restore disks you create yourself are notoriously unreliable and microsoft shouldn't be allowed to get away with it, but its also one of their biggest money spinners when it goes wrong and you need to go out and buy another copy of windows, and the government gets a cut so don't expect anything to change in the near future

Well when i shut down the system last night the computer was off for about 6 hours,would not start right,so i diskonnected dvd drive wich i thought was bad it was computer started right up and went strait to windows,My belive now on the proplems with start up was coused by faulty dvd drive

That sounds logical to me. If it started right up without the DVD and did not with the DVD, then it is logical that the DVD is probably the culprit here.
