Default Windows 95 Problem

I am trying to install Windows 95 on my computer and I am getting the error:
Insufficient memory to initialize windows

How can I change this so it allows Windows 95 to install...

The computer had enough memory to istall Windows XP, so I find this error invalid.

Windows 95 blows up if it has more than 768 mb of ram.

there's a workaround here*

Error Message: Insufficient Memory to Initialize Windows

Yeah, I came across that a few minutes ago, but it didn't work.

Best Option:

Don't use OS's from 16 years ago on semi modern hardware :P Not like you are going to find drivers for it anyways.

As far as compatibility is concerned you are probably better off with Linux even. If you don't want to go pay for a copy of XP.

Yeah I'd have to say the real problem is that anyone would install Winblows 95. Hell if you're feeling nostalgic why not just go back to DOS?

If your just doing it to play around with Win95 then the best thing to do is get VM Player or something similar and install it on there.
