Default Windows 3.11 on an old Packard Bell

A few years ago I gave my Son an old Packard Bell Computer, Monitor, keyboard, and Mouse that was part of a Vinyl Sign Cutting Setup. It also has a Camm 1 Roland Plotter that cuts graphics from 15” perforated rolls of vinyl.
I had retired a few years earlier and even though the old computer has Windows 3.11 on it along with CorelDraw 5 and some sign cutting software and was very slow, It still made me a lot of money when I was using it during my years in the Sign Trade.
I don’t believe he sold a nickel’s worth of signs using it and he made an attempt to sell it online at Craig’s list but got no offers. Anyway , it sat in a closet for a few more years and today I brought it home and set it up just for fun. I replaced the big old monitor with a 19” LCD monitor so it wouldn’t be quiet as cumbersome and believe it or not it started right up.
It will probably be a few days before I get around to actually laying something out in CorelDraw and cutting it out of vinyl (I think I’m going to re-letter my mailbox with it just to see if I can remember anything about how to set it up). I’m sure I can. And I think it is going to be fun. As a matter of fact, I’m pretty sure I could still earn quite a bit of money with it if I put my mind to it. Windows 3.11. Now those were the good old days when times were bad.

Ahhh, I remember ol' 3.1. The first computer I ever had was given to me and it had 3.1 on it.
Anyone remember SCSI?

nothings really changed, a new computer will be obsolete before it breaks, even if you drop it walking out the store, as long as it still does the job thats all that counts.

Default Everything works!

Hooked up the plotter to the old Packard Bell. Figured out what I wanted on the mailbox so the U.S. Post Office could find me and started the contraption up. Worked like a charm. I'm old, but I'm figurin' this 'puter stuff out. Thanks to y'all.

Default First cut on the old Plotter and Packard Bell in awhile...

The kid wanted a decal for his car so he sent me a clip art and I cut it with the old plotter and Packard Bell. He was all excited about it after he applied it to his car and he sent me a pic. Kids! You gotta' love em
