try installing it on a partition first see if you like it.

i already have ubuntu installed on this pc im on right now and i had it on my previous one lol i just want to know if the netbook could hold ubuntu without any problems or issues. and since i havent bought it yet was asking so if it couldnt id find a different one or upgrade ram if needed.

Ifd it will run xp it should run ubuntu, not got a lot of experience but from what i have seen finding drivers is easier than on xp a lot of the time.

oh ok well thanks also i dont want xp lol reason why i wanna uninstall it for ubuntu.lol just not sure how to uninstall an operating system without damaging the bios.

Wipe the hard drive, stick it on another computer and format or use d-ban.

few hours to a few days, depends which program you use type in quick and enter probably a couple of hours, but the hard drive has to be spot on or it will error.

what do you mean it has to be spot on? and what kind of errors? cuz if it will have to many errors i'll need to find another way of doing it.
