Default format factory help

I have format factory and I am converting a video file to VOB
And it works but wen I play it back it has Black Bars on top and the boottum so it looks like it is 16 x 9 Ratio.

Now I know I can go into Settings before I convert it and set it to 4 x 3 but I see in the Settings it says Aspec Ratio and it has the word DEFAULT typed in.

There is no dropdown list so do I type the word 4 : 3 or 4:3 or what I am new to format factory???

So on the left hand side of Format Factory I pick DVD to File Type.

Then it loads all the VOB files so I pick the one I want.

Then on the Right hand side I pick AVi from the drop down list of what I want to convert it to.

Now next to this the tabe says Settings so I clcik iot and you can change things if you want.

So I see Video Type AVi this is right
