Just for the record, I am retracting what I said in this post. I discovered with the wireless router on top of the modem both get extremely hot. Not recommending it. I corrected this and I am sure I have avoided some future problems. Funny thing is I only started setting them on top of each other because because the last tech I had to my house in 2010 did. As I said the last tech..... the very last tech.
