Normally if you keep all the labels on the fans pointing in one direction normally toward the back you wont have any probs
That's kinda what I thought. It's sort of tricky because some fans have labels on both sides. I try to use the side where the wire actually run to.
Thanks!

I set out to finish today, and I nearly did. After getting taken away for about 3 hours (clothes washer overflowed...water level switch went out...lots of towels and mopping) I finally got back to it.

Here is the hard drive mounted right behind the fan at the front...

Here is the SATA hook ups for the HD. This is my first experience with SATA.

My, isn't it a colorful conglomeration...

It lives....bwahahahahahaaa....

I haven't installed the OS yet. I'm thinking about swapping out this new OEM version of WinXP for Windows 7.

Shouldnt have any trouble running 7, you could try downloading a copy see if it works first, anything you buy thats got plastic coated tie wires save them or akasa sell spiral wrap handy for keeping wires tidy.

Thanks, popeye. Having looked at the specs of the mainboard it says the WinXP or Vista. I'm going to call them and see if this board can support Win7. I know the CPU and RAM are okay...not sure about the on-board video, but it seems as though I should be able to download whatever drivers I need.
Here's the mainboad/CPU combo:
Biostar MCP6PB M2+ Socket AM2+/AM2 mATX Motherboard Kit w/Sempron X2 2200+ 2GHz CPU, Heat Sink & Fan Biostar COMBO6B22

The specs on this board say it has a 6150 graphic engine w/DirectX9 256MB memory .... it should work.

Update: Just got off the phone and they advised it will support Windows 7, and on-line info for the mainboard says it will. I'll have to get Windows 7 32-bit.

First thing you should do is copy the iso just in case you damage the disc and need to burn another, and seeing as youve got the iso might as well up load it for rest of us so weve got a clean copy, or just download an activated copy h33t had a good torrent awhile back.

Thanks.
My next career will be a computer photographer.

Basline Softweare said I could return WinXP and swap for Win7 (not an even swap...of course.) I've also ordered another 1G stick of RAM. I just feel better having more than just the minimum 1G RAM.

Think i would opt for scantily clad women to take photos of, i like computers but not that much, 1 gig of ram should run fine but your always better to have at least 2 gig, and your always better with two sticks of 1 gig rather than a single 2 gig stick or memory will not run in dual channel.

Busdriver is the computer you built up and running yet? Did you get the OS you were trading for?
