Default issue with fonts

Here's something that happens from time to time, but mostly when I'm trying to install a program. My fonts get really large and distorted. I'm attaching a screen shot to show you what it looks like. For those of you who have used it, this is my screen when I run "AutoRuns"

my guess is either malware or a program you have installed recently has messed up your computer, either try uninstall recent programs and rebooting or try rkill and combofix a few times then ccleaner, or both

Ok, I'll run those and see. That's about all I don't already have on my trusty flash drive.

It all started though when I stupidly purchased one of those programs advertised "We speed up slow computers" . The one I bought was SpeedyPC. Boy did I do a lot of damage with it. My Roboform toolbar was removed, my fonts were removed, and a few other things. I had to reinstall my fonts, and important programs, but ever since then some screens look like this.

Every time I go to install a program the screens are so large, they won't event fit on the screen, I have to guess what I need to do in order to install everything.

Didn't work. Rkill and combofix did nothing.

Wow - rkill and combofix ran twice, followed by ccleaner have worked for me in the past with virus issues - so, I'd follow Popeye's advice regarding uninstalling recent progs/updates, to see if that works.

Had a similar problem, but not as intense as yours, and it was an update install that caused it. Uninstalled it, ran rkill and combofix and ccleaner, reinstalled the update (as customer requested), and it's running sweet.

What youve done is run a registry tool that has altered the computers basic operating system so combofix isnt going to work, try restoring the computer to an earlier date, if that doesnt work or all your restore points have dissapeared because SpeedyPC has deleted them probably the only chance youve got is doing a repair install, whats the os

Actually it might work. I've never used ComboFix before and didn't know what it does. Right after I posted that it didn't work, it started looking for infected files. Still running now.
