Malwarebytes is simple to use and has a good reputation, and i like super anti spyware but i often download avast even if i dont run it.

Mine isn't up there, but I don't have an antivirus installed.
But I always use Malwarebytes for removal, and Avira AntiVir for protection.

I have been using Microsoft Live One Care, and thus far I have found it to run nicely and quietly in the background. So far it has served me well.

yeah but has it caught anything, from what i can gather even microsoft arent a fan of it.

If the question is what anti virus should you run, the defintive answer is a different one, see if another av catchs anything yours doesnt, or stop worrying about it and keep the install disc handy.
