I would recommend Avira for protection, but trust me, MalwareBytes removes viruses amazingly.

I love Avira actually, whenever it detects a virus I made it say "Virus Detected" ha.

You could try super anti spyware an avast also, turn off system restore before you run it in case its infected that to reinfect the computer when you think youve got rid of it, dont forget to re-enable it after.

Panda.

Free AVG (personally i think is sucks)

AVG does suck, its overrated.

I use Avira, and run MalwareBytes if I got an infected laptop.
