I'm wondering what you all think of the future of the computing world. That is: with the advent of ipad-like devices and smartphones, will we be seeing the eventual demise of the desktop and even the laptop? People get most of what they need through their portable devices and thru online storage. So will these take over the computing world? Or, will there still be a needed place for pc's, either desktop or laptop?

think they will always be around, but people will need them less as they can do stuff on their phones that they would normally do on a computer, but the new technology will still need servicing
