No real need to disable cookies unless you have a specific reason, same with logging out if your on a home computer no real reason to log out unless you think someone is going to make malicious posts in your name, just be careful if you log in on someone elses computer and untick the log in automatically box.

You probably know more than the average computer user now, all it takes is a little effort and a lot of curiosity, most people have no wish to learn that puts you at an advantage over most.
