Go into your program search window type msconfig and look in system configuration window under "startup" tab and see if anything looks unusual and uncheck. I would only do it one at a time so you know for sure if something is generating those commercials. Keep thinking it is possible you may have downloaded something that added those commercials disguised as something else. I am not really sure this is your answer. But checking your programs at startup makes sense to me. Would suggest waiting to hear from others.

sounds like youve downloaded it from wrong site and its downloaded something else with it, it probably is in your start up programs, but i would try uninstalling ie and reinstalling and then run rkill and combofix a few times

could also be youve downloaded a version for a different country where advertising is included but i doubt it

rootkits have become a lot more common in the past few years, if kaspersky doesnt work try rkill and combofix a few times that should fix it, it was developed specifically for them.
