I am new to this. I don't know what a script is. What it does, etc! Can someone help me with scripts though I have chosen to go for shiftcode. I needa know before I use it.
Moreover, I don't know what and how to design although I am a lil familiar with Dreamweaaver. How do I design my GPT website according to my needs and how do I design it to use Shiftcode features like Shoutbox, stats. I saw many sites like Seraphsdesigns, but I don't wanna spend money on them. I need help. Please answer

Best bet would be a more specialised forum specific to setting up websites with andertising content or companies that sponser it, i would imagine they would have sme kind of package to do all the work for you without the need to actually write your own scripts, not had any experience of it myself but would be interested to know how you get on

check out htmlgoodies.com they have tutorials that can teach you anything you want to know, thats were I learned how to build websites. Although I focused mainly on html coding since its easiest to learn, and you can easily add javascripts and applets to give you things like shoutbox and counters, moving banners, just about anything. Although considered kinda primitive compared to the coding they use for big sites nowdays.
