Think a lot of it is what your used to, first computer i built was will vista, i had used xp before but didnt know what i was doing now going back to xp is like going back to the dark ages, on windows 7 at the moment and if im honest im not that struck on it, but youve got to move with the times and vista is probably not going to be around that lomg, when 7 comes out microsoft will try to kill off vista like they tried with xp, but even though i like vista i cant see people forcing them to keep it going like xp users did, as for mac's never tried them but i have been thinking about downloading a copy of the os to try on my computer.

Exclamation vista

after using it for quite a substanical amount of time I am happy to report what I think of it. I have compiled this list of some upsides of Vista and some downsides.

Pros

1. It has a great looking interface
2. Easy way of naviation around the desktop and taskbar
3. Is growing in compatibility with many software and hardware.
4. Search or create virtual files
Forget directories, forget directory trees. Microsoft has integrated search throughout its new operating system, and you'll quickly come to wonder how you lived without it. You can search for all documents authored by John Doe, then save the search as a virtual file folder for later reference without having to physically relocate or make copies of all those files.
5. Widgets
