Cool cant boot windows 7

hello guys

ok lets start

my friend installed windows and windows 8 dual boot

after a week he formatted windows 8 partition from within windows 7

now he cant boot in windows 7 anymore


i tryed to fix it using mbr(master boot record)

but it didnt workded


he doesnt want a new fresh install

he want to recover it old windows cause he doesnt want to reinstalll any programs


any ideas how i can help him ?

you should be able to do a repair install, and avoid windows8 if you dual boot and you dont want to reinstall its not very stable

windows 7 startup repair could not detect any problems


how can i repair it then

a repair install should work if you have a disc

no errors detected thats what disk said

so finally downloaded a system restore disk

and worked :F like a charm booted up pc and i fixed the

boot options
