Default Sharing printers on home network

I am using Windows 7 on both my computers. I've already set up my homegroup and set up printer sharing on the unit that is connected to the printer I want to share. But I can't see the printer on my remote computer.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Ron

Thanks for the reply. I have checked both computers to ensure the the proper settings were checked. i.e they both are set up for shared printers and files. But when I check on "devices and printers" on my remote computer my printer is still not listed.

I think you have to install the printer software on your second computer.

I don't have Windows 7 but I thought this might help.

Share a printer
