my computer was really slow so i got the orginal window xp home edition cd and re-instal to to fix the problem. the computer is now working properly but it is not connecting to the internet. there is no network connections showing and when i checked the device manager, the network adaptor is not showing as well.. but i didn't have any problem before i re-installed windows xp. the internet was working properly so it is difficult for me to believe that it's a hard ware issue. is there anything i can do. thank you.

See if youve got a network adaptor in device manager, if not go to mother board website or network card makers site and get the driver from there, if that doesnt work realtek site they supply most network card hardware download it from their site.
