![]() Hi guys this proccess in my Task Manager is using a lot of memory and when I stop it my Microsoft Essentials says that I have to restart my computer , can you tell me what is this.I just installet Steam , Video Match and .NET Microsoft Framework 4.0 i don't think that Steam or video match is using that memory... ![]() |

part of microsoft essencials, what you do about it depends on how much of a problem it is Why is MsMpEng.exe using so much CPU?

Hi poppey , I tried to disable all starting programs and it shows again . I tried to stop it manualy and it shows again.it's not lagging my PC but i'm curious to know why it appears and it start appering today after installing Video Match. |

if its a screaming video security essentials is probably scanning it as its running, thats what its there for to scan anything that could be a threat, doesnt mean video watch is a threat but if it doesnt scan it its not going to know that
